Trust and verification
A fit rating and a trust badge answer different questions: does this candidate seem relevant, and what evidence supports its claims?
- An unverified listing has not established checked claims. Use it as a lead for further research.
- A claimed or provider-confirmed listing means a provider manages or attests to it. This does not make the claims independently verified.
- Stronger evidence labels reflect the verification recorded for that listing. Open the evidence and check its scope, date and source; do not infer that every product or claim has the same status.
A provider's asserted label cannot raise the displayed tier above the evidence score supporting it. Ownership and evidence are separate: a low evidence tier does not alone prove that a company is claimed.
For a report result marked as needing verification, the outreach action can be held until the relevant evidence is checked. Read the status shown on that result.
No badge guarantees procurement suitability, legal compliance, audit acceptance or future performance. Ask the provider for current documentation and use your own review process. Report an incorrect claim through support.
