Sign in with a passkey

A passkey lets you sign in with the way you already unlock your device — Face ID, a fingerprint, or your screen lock — instead of a password. Passkeys are phishing-resistant: they only ever work on the real veritybase.com.

Setting up a passkey

You add a passkey while signed in:

1. Open My profile (sidebar, under Workspace).
2. In the Security section, find the Passkeys card and choose + Add a passkey.
3. Your browser walks you through saving it — to this device, your password manager, or a security key.

You can add more than one (for example, one per device), and each passkey in the list can be removed at any time.

Signing in

On the sign-in page, choose Sign in with a passkey and approve with your fingerprint, face, or PIN. That's the whole flow — no email or password typing.

The button only appears on browsers and devices that support passkeys.

Recommendations

• Generate recovery codes after adding your first passkey — they're your way back in if you lose the device.
• If a device with a passkey is lost or replaced, remove its passkey from My profile → Passkeys.
• Passkeys saved in a password manager (or Apple/Google account) sync across your devices; passkeys saved only to one device stay on that device.
